Board of Trustees
The Thames Valley Partnership Board of Trustees brings together considerable experience from Criminal Justice, Local Government, the corporate and voluntary sectors and academia.
Between them they offer invaluable insight and expertise from a variety of backgrounds including the police, probation, local authorities, work with children and families, research and the arts.
The current Chair is Ian Blair (Lord Blair of Boughton) who joined us in November 2009. Ian was formerly Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police. After leaving the Met. in 2008 and the responsibilities of dealing with the consequences of crime Ian wished to bring his experience to focus on preventing crime in the first place – and thus joined the Partnership’s Board of Trustees ..
One of the things I really like about the Partnership is that it does that really difficult work but with an interesting edge. (Lord Blair of Boughton)
