Domestic and Sexual Abuse
Our work in this area focuses on violence and abuse which happens primarily within the home or is committed by a close friend or relative. It seeks to promote and develop greater understanding and healthy debate about child sexual abuse and domestic abuse. It encourages the wider community to take responsibility to reduce the risks to both children and adult victims.
Key partners in this programme are domestic abuse networks and forums, health professionals (particularly health visitors and midwives), schools and LEAs, and voluntary organisations working to support survivors and victims.

In association with Comic Relief, developing and piloting a whole-school approach for 11-18 year olds to domestic abuse and violence prevention within the framework of Every Child Matters.

A twice yearly seminar focussing on both domestic violence perpetrators and sex offenders.
Behind Closed Doors
A regional domestic violence network providing support, information and best practice to multi-agency professionals and individuals who are improving domestic violence services in their local area.
